Floridian coffee culture — and particularly that of the Tampa Gulf — has always been fairly unique, distinguishing itself through its many Latin influences. Tampa’s beautifully diverse coffee shop and cafe scene continue to flourish thanks to the many family-owned and independent coffee shops specializing in traditional cuisine, including Cuban, Puerto Rican, Colombian, Dominican, and many more.
Such a multitude of worthy choices can leave any newcomer struggling, especially considering that, apart from well-known establishments like Foundation Coffee of Kahwa Coffee, the city’s more lowkey places are harder to find. So let’s take a look at the top current coffee shops in Tampa that range from budget-friendly to those with more artisanal vibe.

Still, the peculiar nature of their brewing technique is retained in the coffee serving style: you can try it out in a lager glass, a beer mug, or a jar, all served from four taps at the end of the Pour House’s bar. Other menu items include tea and chai latte, hot coffee, espresso, kombucha, and various syrup add-ons.
